Ibis from Ideco

Ibis is a mobile biometric device with a GPRS communication interface. Ii features a Sagem MA200 biometric reader with a storage capacity of up to 500 biometric templates and a one-in-many search of less than two seconds. Time and date recorded biometric transactions are stored in non-volatile memory (up to 1500).

It is ideal in situations where biometric identification is required without the opportunity of connecting to a local network or computer. All that is required is a standard mobile network (GSM) and a computer with an Internet connection in a convenient place. Biometric templates can be added or removed and recorded transactions can be uploaded from here.
