Karen Robinson Chairman of enrev Corporation, received the Woman of The Year in Technology Award, presented by the Women in Technology organisation. The Woman of The Year in Technology Award is a Georgia-based (US) programme sponsored by Women in Technology, Grant Thornton, LLP and Robert W Baird & Company which recognises a woman who has excelled in the technology industry.

"This is a real honour for me. I have promoted the technology business in Georgia with all my heart and it is wonderful to see the progress we have made," said Robinson. "In the four years since we started enrev Corporation, I have seen tremendous change in this community. From the number of companies that I am talking to and working with to the breadth and depth of management teams, the enthusiasm for launching new technology ventures here is incredible. TAG (Technology Association of Georgia) has given us a unified voice and the venture capitalists, the silicon trackers and the industry watchers are all listening and paying attention. I am proud that enrev Corporation is part of Georgia's technology community."

Robinson was also recently honoured as an Enterprising Woman of Wireless by Wireless Week magazine. The honour was bestowed upon a handful of businesswomen noted for exceptional leadership at the helm of companies focused in the wireless industry. Honourees were nominated by association executives, readers and editorial staff.
