Issue 6 2023 News & Events, Surveillance, Power Management

Marshall Security has joined forces with Blacklight Group to launch Reconeyez, a cutting-edge security solution, in the KwaZulu-Natal market.

Reconeyez is a battery-powered surveillance platform with mesh network capability specifically designed to eliminate the need for traditional power and cabling. This solution offers a hassle-free and cost-effective security alternative for the residential, commercial and industrial sectors.

Equipped with two high-definition two-megapixel cameras and a PIR sensor, Reconeyez provides high-quality video snaps at up to 10 frames per burst at up to 40 metres, as well as enhanced surveillance capabilities such as masking. Additionally, the system is complemented by a cloud-based artificial intelligence (AI) platform for monitoring that significantly reduces false alarms and enhances total situational awareness through integrated mapping and alerting.

Marshall Security will pioneer this groundbreaking technology in the KwaZulu-Natal region. With an extensive track record of securing prestigious sites such as the Durban Country Club, Sibaya Precinct, and the Luxurious Hawaan Forest Estate in Umhlanga, Marshall Security brings a wealth of expertise and experience to this partnership.

In collaboration with Blacklight Group, Marshall Security aims to revolutionise the security landscape in the KZN market, offering a state-of-the-art rapid-deployment solution that ensures safety and peace of mind. By adopting Reconeyez, customers can enjoy the benefits of a reliable security system without the logistical challenges and expenses associated with power and cabling infrastructure.

"We are thrilled to introduce Reconeyez to our clients in KZN,” said Jeremy Thompson, Operations Manager of Marshall Security. "Our partnership with Blacklight Group enables us to bring a game-changing solution to the market, one that combines cutting-edge technology with our expertise. With Reconeyez, our clients can expect, not only enhanced security, but also a seamless integration of intelligent surveillance and mapped situational analysis."

Through this partnership, companies, organisations, and individuals in the KwaZulu-Natal region can now turn to Reconeyez for a comprehensive security solution that prioritises efficiency, affordability, and peace of mind.
