Paxton wins at the South Africa OSPAs

Issue 4 2023 News & Events, Access Control & Identity Management

Paxton was named Outstanding Security Equipment Manufacturer at the South Africa Outstanding Security Performance Awards 2023. Their regional team represented and accepted the award at Securex, South Africa.

The OSPAs recognise and honour the exceptional achievements of security professionals and organisations that have demonstrated outstanding performance and innovation in the security industry.

Graham Thorne, Paxton’s Country Sales Manager for South Africa, said, “This is the first time we have won a regional security award. It recognises our efforts in the years of developing and growing Paxton’s brand name in South Africa.”

“I want to thank our team who have worked hard to achieve this, and our customers who continue to support us along the journey. I am sure more awards will come, and we are excited for Paxton’s future growth.”

Paxton designs and manufactures simple-to-use, smart access control technology. Earlier this year it launched the Paxton Tech Tour in South Africa, allowing the company to meet even more security installers and support them discovering new business opportunities. The events are still running and combine a business seminar and practical workshop, showcasing the features and benefits of Paxton’s products, including Net2, Paxton10, Entry, and PaxLock.

Thorne said, “We are out on the road with our own Tech Tour. It is a phenomenal tool for existing customers to be reintroduced to Paxton, and a wonderful platform for new customers to see our products and services. So far, it’s been a busy, fun, and productive time for us. The OSPAs award is like a prize, and a confirmation that the hard work and dedication of our team in South Africa paid off.”
