Compact, lightweight bullet cameras with support for analytics

Axis Communications announced two new outdoor-ready bullet-style cameras featuring deep-learning processing units for analytics based on deep learning on the edge. Additionally, with Axis Object Analytics, they offer detection and classification of humans, vehicles and types of vehicles – all tailored to specific needs.

The Axis M2036-LE delivers Quad HD 1440p/4 MP resolution and a 129° horizontal field of view, whereas the Axis M2035-LE offers HDTV in 1080p. The Axis M2035-LE is also available in two variants with a choice of lenses: a wide 3 mm lens with a 101° horizontal field of view for wide-area surveillance, and a tele 8 mm lens with a 39° horizontal field of view for surveillance from a distance.

Ideal for both hot and cold environments, these IK08-rated bullet cameras can withstand temperatures as low as -30°C and as high as 50°C. They include built-in IR Illumination and an integrated sunshield for protection against sun and rain. Additionally, with IP66, IP67 and NEMA 4X ratings, they’re resistant to rough weather, dust, sand, salt spray, ice formation and high water pressure.

These small, lightweight cameras offer flexible, cost-efficient installation. They include a spacious, sealed back box ensuring secure cable management and providing installers with greater accessibility, freedom of movement and future serviceability.
