Streamlining processes, integrating operations

Issue 6 2022 Security Services & Risk Management, Integrated Solutions, Transport (Industry), Logistics (Industry)

Founded in the 1960s, Airbus is a leader in designing, manufacturing and delivering aerospace products, services and solutions to customers worldwide. With over 130 000 employees, and as the largest aeronautics and space company in Europe, Airbus is at the forefront of the global aviation industry.

Historically, Airbus had used different security reporting solutions to manage incident reporting across Europe. However, with the availability of new technology and the changing nature of potential threats, it wanted to adopt a solution that could meet the demands of the modern world.

It was essential for Airbus that this new solution would seamlessly connect its agents, supervisors and management across the global organisation. For this reason, Airbus knew it would require features such as real-time reporting, geo-localisation, lone worker protection, data storage across Europe, and a provider that would act as a partner along this journey.

After a call for tender and proof of concept, where different offerings were tested across numerous Airbus sites throughout Europe, Trackforce Valiant was chosen as the provider for Airbus.

“Trackforce Valiant made the difference by accompanying us to all of our European sites to help with the proof of concept and by committing to dedicating a focal point in their customer success department to Airbus throughout the deployment,” said Michel Soto, corporate security project manager, Airbus.

Trackforce Valiant’s customer success team helped Airbus get started and was there every step of the journey, including during post-implementation activities such as staff training. “As each site had its own particularities, Trackforce Valiant did its utmost to offer support for the challenges faced by operational staff by proposing innovative solutions or by developing their tool accordingly,” added Soto.

Efficient, productive and cost-effective guard operations

Since implementing Trackforce Valiant (TFV), Airbus now has one single platform that connects its security guards, supervisors, and management across its organisation. By using TFV features like real-time reporting, geo-localisation and lone worker protection, Airbus has been able to ensure that its security guard operations are more efficient, productive and cost-effective.

Airbus has also successfully integrated Trackforce Valiant with other management tools, providing the organisation with further worldwide coverage. Additionally, it has been able to decommission legacy tools, enabling it to cut costs and create savings.

Trackforce Valiant offers a comprehensive security management software solution that makes it easy to track, monitor and analyse security operations in real time. From incident and activity reporting to visitor management, Trackforce Valiant’s software platform is customisable and easy to deploy.
