State-of-the-art access control products on display

February 2003 Access Control & Identity Management

The Ranger Mediscan metal detector, specifically designed for use in hospitals to prevent and control loss of expensive stainless steel medical and surgical instruments, will be on display on the Emergency Reaction Services stand at Securex 2003.

Emergency Reaction Services will also be exhibiting the Ranger multizone walkthrough detectors that indicate the exact location of hidden weapons or metal contraband. Ranger can recognise that normal quantities of coins or keys are not weapons. This makes them the ideal solution for large sports events, conferences or exhibitions where speed and convenience to enter are as important as securing the event.

Visitors will also be able to see the unique Ranger Identiscan program that lets one set the detector to alarm for specific products only, allowing other metal products to pass through undetected and is a suitable solution for manufacturing plants.

For more information contact Emergency Reaction Services, 0800 138 911.
