XPro Security Solutions has been selected as the southern African exclusive authorised dealer for Evolv Technology’s products. This will include distribution, installation and maintenance of the Evolv EDGE and Evolv Express products within the region.

“We are both proud and excited to announce this partnership, and look forward to introducing this touchless, high-volume screening product range to the market at just the right time,” said Greg Dixon, director of Xpro Security Solutions. “As the southern African distributor of Astrophysics X-Ray detection equipment and Bruker explosive and narcotics trace detection equipment, this new addition will complement our product range perfectly.”

New products on offer

Detecting people carrying weapons and preventing them from entering your venue is now possible, without sacrificing the visitor experience. Evolv Express, powered by the Evolv Cortex AI Software Platform, now available from XPro Security Solutions, delivers a free-flow touchless weapons detection system designed to stop active shooters and other threats by screening more than 1800 people per hour (30 people per minute) and gets smarter over time. Evolv Express keeps high-volume entrances flowing by reliably detecting guns and other weapons as visitors walk through at a natural pace.

Single- or multi-lane detector

Five times faster throughput than traditional checkpoints: Screens more than 1800 people per hour. Visitors and employees walk side by side or in groups through a single-lane entrance up to four feet wide. The multi-lane option is ten times faster and screens more than 3600 people per hour.

Real-time metallic weapons detection: The Evolv Cortex AI Software Platform instantly distinguishes between threats such as a gun, and the things we normally carry such as cellphones, keys, coins, and belts.

Frictionless screening: No stopping is required. No emptying pockets or removing bags. Groups of people are screened simultaneously and simply walk through naturally.

Targeted searches, reducing the burden on security teams: Guards see a real-time image on a screen showing where the potential threat is on a person’s body.

Smarter over time: With the AI platform, Express becomes more intelligent as new threat profiles are discovered, keeping you ahead of the threat landscape.
