Latest Longse thermal technology

1 June 2020 Surveillance

In light of the global outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19), society is deeply concerned about the spread of infection and seeking tools to help slow and ultimately stop the spread of the virus.

Thermal imaging cameras are devices that translate thermal energy (heat) into visible light in order to analyse a particular object or scene. Thermal imaging cameras are sophisticated devices that process the captured image and display it on a screen. These images can be used for immediate diagnosis or processed through specialised software for further evaluation and report output.

The recently launched Longse thermal IP cameras include remote monitoring, a video server and high-definition camera functions. The result is exceptional personnel identification, accurate temperature detection and pathological body temperature surveillance, which will support COVID-19 monitoring, safe work regulation implementations and response mechanism processes.

These cameras can measure the temperatures of multiple people at the same time. The effective temperature measurement distance can be up to 30 metres. Other benefits include:

Dual camera functionality: Infrared and visible light dual cameras, with a simultaneous display.

Blackbody temperature measurement: The constant temperature blackbody is a special component of the system. It is powered separately and works independently. It is not physically connected to the infrared body temperature monitoring system and only participates in the system software correction as a constant temperature heat radiation source.

Speed of measurement: The measured pedestrian flow passes through the identified area; the human body temperature can be detected within 1 second.

Non-contact measurement: The subject receives the temperature measurement at a distance of 6 to 8 metres from the lens, which is not likely to raise an objection from the subject. The monitoring can be done at a remote operation station to avoid cross infection.

Sensitivity: The temperature resolution of this instrument is up to 0,05°C, which is suitable for searching and detecting people with elevated fever, even if they are moving in crowds/areas with a large flow of people.

Invisibility: The temperature measurement can be carried out without interfering with normal workflow/labour procedures.

Rich peripheral digital interface: Infrared, high-definition visible light dual-channel network cameras and high-definition digital image acquisition and output can be quickly connected to the global surveillance system or intra-domain autonomous system.

Software supports secondary development interface: The independent operation library and network database storage can be easily and quickly connected to existing platforms, such as intelligent self-service customs clearance systems, information collection systems, etc.

The Longse thermal IP cameras boast an easy-to-operate, convenient smart IR monitoring system with the following features:

• Face detection.

• Blackbody correction.

• Video image settings.

• Voice alarm.

• Network configurations.

• Parameter settings.
