SecuTech is boosting competitiveness

March 2003 News & Events, Security Services & Risk Management

Tagged 'Boosting your Competitiveness', SecuTech Expo - which takes place from 6-8 April in Taipei, Taiwan - gathers abundant original manufacturers and multifaceted security products to maximise efficiency, helping visitors forge business contacts in Asia.

Asia is one of the world's security products manufacturing and technological powerhouses. With leading-edge products, advanced technology and competitive prices, Asian product developers are considered the best manufacturing partners in the world. Many international brand names have chosen Asia for production bases to operating costs.

SecuTech Expo 2003 enables visitors from around the world to see more Asian-made products and meet more original Asian equipment manufacturers under one roof, thus giving visitors more opportunities to forge business contacts in Asia and boosting competitiveness.

SecuTech Expo 2003 allows buyers to view multifaceted security products, ranging from basic security devices to high-tech digital systems. Its digital surveillance pavilion, for example, is Asia's biggest showcase of its kind, consisting of 90 manufacturers in more than 200 booths. Likewise, an access-control pavilion will draw buyers looking for readers and controllers. Cameras, monitors, multiplexers and sensors will all be on display - more than 1000 products will be shown.

Global DVR Forum 2003

For those interested in digital-video recorders, SecuTech 2003 has a Global DVR Forum, offering rich information while facilitating contacts in the DVR industry. Top three DVR names, GE Interlogix, Tyco Fire & Safety, and Dallmeier Electronic, will attend to share the winning business strategies, market intelligence, and outlook for DVR development. In addition, the most important DVR association, the Digital Video Recorder Committee of Korea, and A&S Magazine, the only security publisher in Taiwan, will post updates on Korea and Taiwan's DVR industry.

China Security Market Forum

China is the hottest market in the world today. Though China has great potential, success stories are few and far between. The market has been pretty chaotic so far. Key issues such as distribution, partnerships, anti- counterfeiting, and tax and tariffs are major concerns. Honeywell ACS and GE Interlogix have been invited to discuss issues of concern to businesses.

Korea Pavilion

Apart from 190 Taiwanese exhibitors, this year extensive display from South Korea can be expected. The first-ever Korea Pavilion at SecuTech is mapped out in 2003, and the total number of booths taken by Korean exhibitors will be more than 60. But this is not just about Taiwan and South Korea. In fact, the show is increasingly valued by security players including makers, distributors and dealers in the Asia-Pacific region. There will also be more displays than ever from Japan, China and Southeast Asia.

Other players teaming up with SecuTech Expo 2003 include SecuTech Taipei, Fire & Safety Taipei, and iSecuTech Taipei. Visitors can thus see electronic-security products, systems and solutions, info security, fire and safety all in one venue. Sourcers and buyers wanting to form partnerships and upgrade competitiveness will not want to miss this one: SecuTech Expo 2003.
