Video, audio and data over one fibre

International Fiber Systems' latest addition to its range of fibre-optic transceivers transmits bi-directional video, audio and data over a single fibre.

The VAD7000 modules have an extensive list of applications including access control, video conferencing, CCTV camera control and intelligent transport systems and with the benefit of single fibre transmission, these units will also allow you to save or reclaim fibre.

Available in both rack and standalone versions for both single and multimode fibre, the transceivers are designed to be simple to install with no on-site adjustments. The rack mounted versions are 'hot swappable' which means that they can be replaced with the power on with no risk of damage to the rack or other modules and like all IFS products, the VAD7000 transceivers carry a lifetime warranty.
