DSC's new Power864 expandable hybrid security system

Describing it as 'the most innovative security system on the market today', DSC has added the feature rich, user friendly Power864 to its extensive line of security products. The new Power 864 is an expandable 64-zone hybrid security system that is packed with options.

With a host of new features that takes security and convenience to another level, the Power864 is expandable to 64 fully programmable zones with up to eight separate partitions and wireless expansion of up to 32 zones. In addition, there are four on-board programmable outputs, expandable up to 14 outputs.

According to Andrew Stead of Elvey International, distributor of DSC security equipment, "The Power864 also boasts PTC technology which functions as a re-settable fuse, a 256- event buffer with date and time stamp, global, single or multiple partition zone assignment, Down-Look video control capability with remote trigger (via the remote DTMF telephone access module; Escort5580) and a Windows-based upload/download using DSC's proprietary DLS-3 software."

"The Power864 also includes many false alarm prevention features including a burglary verified timer, double hit, late to close, postpone auto-arm and delay fire and burg," he says.

Additional convenience features include auto-arm by partition and day, new zone bypassing options, such as bypass recall, clear bypassed zones and bypass groups, 24 h non-alarm zones and exit without disarm.
