Centurian Systems offers its popular D5 sliding gate operator with fully rated power supply

June 2000 Access Control & Identity Management

Centurion Systems, purveyors of quality access, gate automation and security solutions, boast a number of top-selling products. With its range being constantly extended, new additions are par for the course. Says Centurion Systems Richard Rhoman, "The addition to the D5 sliding gate operator of our PSU1 fully rated power supply, has proven to be very popular with many installers. The power supply fits neatly into position where the normal 7A/H battery is housed. The operator becomes, in effect, a 220 V a.c. unit but with all the benefits of a DC motor."

Key benefits include:

* Ability to fit battery back-up.

* Fast operating speed with smooth acceleration and deceleration.

* Cool running motor with high duty cycle (60%).

* Sensitive anti-crushing control.

* Ideal for light industrial applications.

The D5 with PSU1 is an ideal operator for light industrial applications. The battery, if fitted, must be housed separately and is sized according to the number of operations the system is required to do in the event of mains power failure.

The PSU1 has also been adapted to operate in the CENTRY traffic barrier and Maxi-Mate swing gate system.
