Aludi Technologyies hosts system intergrators at company 'launch'

Dec '99 Surveillance

Aludi Technologies, the fire, parking and security solution provider, recently hosted a breakfast at which it 'launched' the consolidated group. Introduced by Frank Fowles, Sales and Marketing Director of Aludi Technologies, the function marked 'the successful integration of APD, Meteor Fire and Cardkey South Africa into Aludi Technologies and the most recent acquisition of National Autoparks which will become Aludi Services.'

When asked about the purpose of the function, Fowles said that the successful integration of APD, Meteor Fire and Cardkey South Africa into Aludi Technologies from a business perspective did not mean that key customers of each of the individual companies were themselves fully "acquainted with the scope of Aludi Technologies products and services".

Fowles went on to highlight the fact that Aludi now has its own in-house rental division, capably headed up by Vivienne Campbell. Said Fowles, "The benefits of the rental scheme to our clients include the fact that no budget is required for Capex. It provides for off balance sheet finance, and can be structured to include full maintenance costs for the duration of the contract."

Aludi Technologies has also committed itself to assisting with the economic empowerment guidelines as outlined by government. Said Fowles, "In this regard, we are pleased to welcome Ipeleng Moloto, the Managing Director of Phosa Iliso CCTV, who has agreed to be a strategic partner in future business opportunities, in addition to providing Aludi with the opportunity to develop and transfer multi-disciplinary skills to previously disadvantaged people within our community."

Acquisition of Cardkey Systems by Johnson Controls

Added Fowles, "A tremendous advantage which has recently accrued to the Cardkey division of Aludi Technologies, is the recent international acquisition of Cardkey Systems by Johnson Controls in the US. This has provided Aludi with the opportunity to forge closer links with Johnson Controls South Africa - a leading facilities and building management operation in southern Africa - with access to a much wider and prestigious client base."

Concluded Fowles, "Aludi Technologies' complete fire, parking and security systems have been tried, tested and are relied on by leaders in government, trade and industry in sub-Saharan Africa.
