Securicor unveils new corporate identity

Known previously as Gray Security Services (GSS), Securicor KZN, recently unveiled its new corporate identity and business plans for the future, at a function in Durban.

Securicor plc, a UK-based company, acquired Gray Security Services almost two years ago for approximately R468 million. The company currently operates in 54 countries around the globe including 21 on the African continent and employs about 10 000 people in South Africa alone.

"Gray Security Services has always been the country's leading supplier of integrated security solutions," says Mike Bennett, general manager of the KZN operation, "and as Securicor we will continue to carry the same torch. We have a sound reputation within the industry, earned over a number of years, for our commitment to professionalism, integrity and fair-handedness in our dealings with clients and employees alike and for our empowerment initiatives both within and outside of the organisation. "The company's diverse range of services and products include state-of-the-art technology, forensic auditing and investigations and corporate intelligence, executive and VIP protection and the protection of assets in transit, guarding services, protection of specialist facilities such as casinos and retail operations.
