Lenel Systems International has announced the availability of the OnGuard WebSphere MQ series adapter for use with the IBM WebSphere MQ family of enterprise application integration software. The adapter provides enterprises working with the IBM WebSphere MQ suite the ability to exchange data, in realtime and with guaranteed delivery, between the Lenel OnGuard Total security knowledge management solutions software and dozens of legacy applications, regardless of operating systems or hardware platforms.

IBM WebSphere MQ is a business integration software. It connects various business software to form one efficient enterprise by providing an open, scalable, industrial-strength messaging backbone.

"Lenel developed this adapter keeping in mind our core philosophy emphasising the value of open architecture," stated Rudy Prokupets, chief technology officer and executive vice president of research and development for Lenel Systems International. "It provides our customers with another tool to leverage the invaluable data contained within the Lenel OnGuard Total Security Knowledge Management Solutions.
