iClass reader wins product award

Bioscrypt and HID Corporation's V-Smart iCLASS reader was selected as 'Best of Show' at the BiometriTech Expo and Conference held recently in New York.

V-Smart iCLASS, a two-in-one reader solution, supports dual fingerprint templates and multiple application contactless smartcards. The reader combines Bioscrypt's fingerprint matching technology with support for HID's new iCLASS technology.

The V-Smart iCLASS reader addresses the increasing interest in secure government and corporate sites to use identity credentials and biometrics for access control. The same iCLASS credential can also be used for applications such as time and attendance, IT security and cafeteria payment.
