SensAble Sensors, a subsidiary of Dortech, is engaged in the business of research and development, manufacture and worldwide distribution of a wide range of electronic sensors and access control modules.
Established in 1997 the company has already established a reputation as being the preferred supplier of electronic products and sub-assemblies to a number of major partners in the niche industries in which it has chosen to operate.
Situated in Mahogany Ridge, just outside Durban, the large (3000 m2) high-tech facility is ideally placed to supply and provide technical support to the global market. Manufacturing processes employed include the latest in surface-mount technology, wave solder machines, computerised test equipment and environmental burn-in chambers, thereby ensuring quality products.
As well as manufacturing products of its own design, SensAble Sensors also specialises in doing contract manufacture for other companies. These products are either to the company's own proprietary design or alternatively designed by SensAble Sensors engineers to specifications provided by the client.
