Panasonic's new WV-CP470 series colour surveillance camera automatically switches from 480-line resolution in colour-mode during daylight hours to 570-line resolution in black-and-white mode at night.
Furthermore, the unit's linear sensitivity can be enhanced electronically up to 32 times and, together with digital signal processing technology, can produce high quality images even in extreme lighting conditions.
Other useful features include an alarm output terminal for external sensors; a digital motion detector; an alphanumeric character display; a gen-lock connector for large system applications, and VD2 sync capability with Panasonic system products.
