The Mobile-Cam is a digital security camera system for vehicle, retail or covert use. The system includes a B/W pinhole infrared camera, as well as a digital still picture capture unit and a wireless remote for set-up and control. Once installed, the camera can capture up to 32 high quality images onto its solid-state memory storage unit.
Several modes can be chosen from, including motion detection if the vehicle is unattended or manual activation via the footswitch or hand remote. This is useful in a hi-jack or robbery situation. Images are overlayed with a time and date stamp. One can also adjust the interval between the images being captured.
Typical applications include installation in vehicles, such as taxis, delivery vans, ambulances, police cars or use in small shops and restaurants to capture events in case of armed robbery.
