With a three-piece, weatherproof potted enclosure and long pigtail design, HID's Prox80 reader is an 80 mm² reader that provides up to 14 cm of read range.

Its unique mounting plate accommodates vertical and horizontal mounting hole patterns for European (60 mm) and Asian (52 mm) hole spacing. The Prox80's long pigtail simplifies installation by providing easy cable terminations. Features include multicolour LED and internal control or host control of the LED and beeper.

The Prox80 mounts directly on metal and can be used with all HID proximity cards and all bit formats.
