MS International salutes local security equipment manufacturers

MS International has come out in strong support of local manufacturers and has urged South African companies to consider local products.

"It is common belief in the security industry that imported products are superior in quality," states Yusuf Mather of MS International. "However, this is an understated myth.

"Companies such as Inhep Electronics, Comsec, RDC and Sentry - to name but a few - are currently exporting to countries like New Zealand, France, Australia, the UK, Germany, USA as well as the rest of Africa. This is not only because of the rand-dollar exchange rate, as these countries have stringent standards regarding security," adds Mather.

"South African installers should seriously consider using locally manufactured products as these products are tried and tested in our rugged environmental conditions and are specially designed to combat the 'real' crime experienced in our country.

"MS International will be launching its range of local and extremely exciting products in the forthcoming month. Watch this space," concludes Mather.
