The ORYX range of conventional panels from Technoswitch offers 2, 4 and 8 zone options, including weatherproof versions (with or without DIN rail) specifically suited to industrial applications, as well as repeater panels. The ORYX range is 100% locally developed and manufactured in Technoswitch’s ISO 9001 certified facility in Johannesburg.

The ORYX repeater panels display information from the ORYX conventional fire panels located at a remote location. The repeater panel will mimic all the master fire control panel’s alarm indications. Up to seven repeater panels can be connected to a single ORYX fire panel. The RS-485 communication protocol allows cable runs of up to 1200 metres total on the communication bus.
The repeater panels also offer control functionality in the form of silence buzzer, silence alarm, sound alarm and reset buttons.
