Residential Estate Security Conference 2019: Managing for efficiency

2 August 2019 News & Events, Conferences & Events

The Residential Estate Security Conference 2019 will be held on 20 August 2019, once again at the Indaba Hotel in Fourways, Johannesburg. This year will see a variety of specialists addressing various aspects of estate security, from manned guarding through to technology, the integration of the two, as well as the ways in which artificial intelligence can enhance your security without costing a fortune.

Kevin Monk, MD of Stallion Electronic Security, will explain to delegates that simply hiring a bunch of guards is not enough to secure your estate; similarly, the best and latest technology isn’t up to the task either. The key is planning and management.

Kevin says that no matter how advanced technology is, security operations still need to be planned, integrated and managed effectively. Years of experience in the field have taught Kevin what is required to manage security operations, from the guard at the gate to the camera on the perimeter, to the control room as well as remote services.

In his presentation, he will provide attendees with insight into the best practices in managing your security in order to obtain optimal efficiency and effectiveness. There are ways to spend more and receive less, and there are ways to save money in the long run without compromising your security. Kevin will expand on this and the ways in which estates can receive real value for their security spend.
