New Flex Gen2 IR PTZ range

1 May 2019 Surveillance, Products & Solutions

The Illustra Flex Gen2 family of infrared (IR) PTZ cameras is equipped with powerful zoom and control in even the most challenging lighting conditions. Distributed by Elvey, both the indoor and outdoor cameras feature a 30X optical and 12X digital zoom that effectively resolve scene details at up to 300 metres.

The IR illuminators on the outdoor model provide night scene illumination of up to 150 metres and the indoor version has a 25 metre IR range. True day/night and true wide dynamic range allow for balanced image quality in poor lighting conditions and because no additional supplementary IR lighting is required, overall system costs are reduced.

The no-bubble housing means the PTZ is environmentally sealed and vandal-resistant, providing high-quality video at any tilt angle. This allows for better situational awareness.

Both versions come standard with IntelliZip, smart bandwidth technology that enables the cameras to stream high-resolution video images with reduced bandwidth consumption. This reduces storage requirements, thereby saving costs without compromising on frame rates, resolution or record duration.

VideoEdge TrickleStor allows video recording to continue on the SD card on the edge when outage occurs. When communications resume, the video is then transferred back to the NVR’s hard drive.

The system is ideal for complex, integrated environments and remains totally safeguarded, with features such as multi-level password protection, IP address filtering, user access logs, and certificate management allowing for high-end network integrity and security.
