Hikvision Africa opens new office in Johannesburg

Hikvision has opened of a new office for Hikvision Africa. The new office is a multi-functional building located in Bramley, Johannesburg. In addition to Hikvision South Africa for daily operations, it also houses a variety of service teams, such as technical support, sales support, an innovation centre and local warehousing.

James Dong, CEO of Hikvision Africa, expressed his gratitude to the customers and guests attending the opening event on 19 September, which attracted more than 150 clients from nearly 20 countries in Africa. “Hikvision hopes to strengthen cooperation with customers, industry users and channel partners, to jointly explore the technology and market opportunities, share the latest achievements in intelligent security, and create better, safer societies across Africa.”

With a continuously growing business in Africa, Hikvision is demonstrating its commitment to suppliers and customers in Africa with the establishment of the new office which will provide stronger technical support and faster service. It will also provide training and service on products and vertical solutions, enabling customers to try out products firsthand as well as sales support training.

As one invited guest, Kevin Zhu, CEO of CST, a distributor of Hikvision products in Senegal, remarked, Hikvision has been recognised for high-quality products and its spirit of cooperation with local partners, especially on the part of the sales support team. Furthermore, Hikvision prioritises the user experience, demonstrating its commitment to users by providing advanced integrated project solutions using artificial intelligence and innovative technologies.

Vicel Moshapo, senior security manager of Nedbank, praised Hikvision’s vertical industry solutions, “Hikvision understands our unique needs and provides reliable solutions that we can rely on.” With Hikvision’s banking solutions, Nedbank managed to protect customers and employees, improve transaction security and customer satisfaction, and manage multiple branches effectively through information collection and processing, vastly improving operational efficiency.

After the office opening ceremony, the guests experienced a demonstration of Hikvision’s latest alarm products and Wi-Fi solutions, mainly aimed at residential and small commercial intrusion alarm, perimeter protection and emergency alarm applications.
