Dahua launches HDCVI-IoT series

June 2018 Surveillance, Products & Solutions

Dahua Technology has launched its HDCVI-IoT product series. HDCVI-IoT is an IoT infrastructure based upon HDCVI technology, offering an ecosystem linking conventional HD-over-coax video and audio data with sensor information (such as temperature and humidity) and alarms. This offers users potential risk warnings with visual evidence, allowing them to secure personnel and property across all dimensions.

HDCVI-IoT includes the following devices.

Linca series

This series offers a 2 MP HDCVI temperature and humidity camera, it records and uploads video with real-time environmental information using its built-in temperature and humidity sensor, perceiving changes and providing an early warning. It boasts a detection range of -40° to 60°.

Also available is a 2 MP HDCVI Gateway Camera that integrates up to 32 wireless alarm devices such as smoke detectors, door contacts or sirens, to establish a corresponding system providing visual records for triggered alarms, with built-in Airfly transmitter supporting global frequencies of 433/868/915 MHz.

MotionEye series

The series consists of 8 MP, 4 MP and 2 MP HDCVI MotionEye Cameras that specialise in accurate motion detection based on video and built-in PIR sensors. While effectively decreasing the false alarm rate, the camera with a maximum video output of 25 fps at 4 MP, and 30 fps at 1080p, provides intrusion detection with visual alarm verification.

The HDCVI IoT recorder offers centralised IoT management with a user-friendly UI, displaying real-time IoT data and producing statistic reports. It also supports built-in battery for emergency power-off.

The HDCVI-IoT USB Dongle attached to the XVR enables access to multiple wireless alarm devices, such as smoke detectors or door contacts, within a transmission distance up to 500 m.
