The Regal Security Learning Centre provides training for new and professional installers to hone their skills and understanding of a wide range of security technologies such as: access control, CCTV, networking, wireless link and alarm panel installation and setup. At our fully equipped learning centre in Greenstone, Gauteng, learners will receive face-to-face training with each course offering a practical element and a Regal Certificate of Completion.

Some of the courses on offer include:

• Access Control Fundamentals

Date: 17 July

This course includes the theory behind access control, along with training on stand-alone reader selection and installation, culminating in a practical activity. Continue your learning with the access control advanced course that follows to learn about multi-door controllers and software too.


• CCTV Installation

Date: 30 July

Learn about CCTV technologies, the scene and lighting, transmission media, the CCTV camera and video processors. The practical includes setting up a DVR/NVR for both analogue and IP cameras. Continue your learning with the CCTV Commissioning course that follows.


• Wisnetworks (Wireless Links)

Date: 2 August

This course will take you through the considerations for choosing equipment to set up a wireless link, as well as a demonstration of how to set it up, followed by a practical where you get to do the same.
