Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) training

June 2018 Training & Education, Security Services & Risk Management

Research Electronics International (REI) (USA) has been partnering with Eavesdropping Detection Solutions (EDS) since 2016 to present REI factory equipment training courses on a regular basis at the EDS TSCM training facility in South Africa.

The next round of REI TSCM training courses is scheduled to take place from 06 – 31 August 2018 in South Africa. EDS has a dedicated TSCM training facility in Centurion. REI’s own dedicated TSCM training centre in Tennessee is the largest and best equipped private TSCM training facility in the World.

REI presents various training courses at its own facility in the USA and has six full time instructors. All REI’s courses are hands on training on REI’s own factory-manufactured equipment, i.e., ANDRE, Oscor, Talan, Orion, etc. Attendees at the EDS course will receive the training on REI equipment and the training will be presented by REI’s own trainers. In addition, attendees will receive REI training certificates.

Attendees who have previously completed Level 1, Level 2 or other basic training in the USA will be able to attend the next levels of training courses in South Africa and vice versa. Attendees who attend REI’s Level 1 or Level 2 courses in South Africa will be able to attend further courses in the USA.

The strategic partnership between REI and EDS means that many from outside of the USA who cannot afford or who do not wish to travel all the way to the USA will be able to receive the same high-level training and certification in South Africa. The following courses will be presented in South Africa during August 2018:

• Level 1 – TSCM Countermeasures Core Concepts Course

06 – 10 August 2018

• Level 2 – OSCOR Spectrum Analyser and RF Masterclass Course

13 – 17 August 2018

• Level 2 – TALAN 3 Telephone Analyser Operator Course

20 – 24 August 2018

• Level 3 – TALAN Advanced and VoIP Countermeasures Course

27 – 31 August 2018
