ESDA Charity Golf Day 2018

June 2018 News & Events, Conferences & Events

The Electronic Security Distributors’ Association (ESDA) will be holding its annual Golf Day in aid of charity on 20 September 2018 at the Benoni Country Club. The charity being supported this year is AMCARE.

A non-profit organisation, AMCARE offers a variety of services to poor and vulnerable people ranging from sheltering victims of domestic abuse, to caring and support of orphaned and vulnerable children, to rendering social support to elderly residents. It also offers training and skills development to empower the people it serves.

The event will be open to everyone in the security industry, manufacturers, suppliers, installers, system integrators etc, not just ESDA members.

The cost of hosting a 4-ball for the day will remain the same as last year at R3500 per 4-ball. This includes entertainment, a goodie bag, the halfway house, dinner, scoring and green fees, and registration.

Companies wishing to take sponsorships during the day are welcome to contact ESDA. Sponsorship opportunities include setting up banners around the course and in the dining hall, sponsoring drinks at four points along the course, as well as sponsoring awards and raffle prizes for the evening’s entertainment.

Michael Scholz, aka The 40-Year-Old Rookie is a former tour golf professional who specialises in golf event entertainment, providing golfers and guests with the best available golf day entertainment via his eclectic golf trick shot shows. Having preformed over 1000 trick shot shows around the globe, his shows include various seemingly impossible golf shots, loads of humour and are enjoyed by all . . . even non-golfers.

For more information or to book a 4-ball, or for sponsorship details, contact Debbie Lieberthal, ESDA secretary, [email protected], 082 6533 802.
