General and product-specific training

Reditron offers a number of general as well as product-specific training courses at its offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and Port Elizabeth.

The Reditron In House Training course runs during the first week of every month and includes a variety of specialities, including Basic Electronics and Access Control, Advanced Access Control, Basic CCTV and Advanced CCTV. This course is designed for people who are not in the security industry or for people who are in the industry and would like to further their knowledge. It is not a product-specific course. The students will write an exam at the end of each day and will receive a certificate for each day. The cost of the course is R2550.

The Dahua Product & Practical course lasts for one day. Students will get to work with their own NVR/DVR for the duration of the course. They will learn how to configure and install the system as well as an overview of other products that are offered by Dahua. The students will write an exam at the end of the day and receive a Reditron Certificate. The cost is R700 per person.

The Arteco VEMS training will be added to Reditron’s training calendar later this year. The course will comprise of Tech 1 and Tech 2 training. Students will be given computers and will learn how to install and configure Arteco VEMS with its features and functions. They will write a certification exam to obtain their certificate.
