ASSA Abloy secures Mul-T-Lock distributorship

ASSA Abloy South Africa has been appointed as the sole distributor for southern Africa of Mul-T-Lock high security lock cylinders and lock products.

The Mul-T-Lock brand is well known in South Africa as Mul-T-Lock pioneered multi-bolt locking and the popular gearlock concept into South Africa during the past 20 years.

Whilst ASSA Abloy SA will not be stocking the Mul-T-Lock gearlock products, as this would conflict with the range of gearlocks from Solid Gearlock, stocks of the Classic and Interactive cylinder and lock ranges are now available ex-stock to the marketplace from its Johannesburg warehouse.

The Mul-T-Lock cylinder has five chambers, with each chamber containing two concentric pins giving the equivalent of a 10-pin cylinder. The side-pinning feature offers resistance to picking.
