Controlware recently formally announced the opening of its South African operating subsidiary, Controlware Communications Systems. The South African office, headed by Martin Bremer, is based in Midrand and started operating some months ago and is the first subsidiary to be established on the continent, the initial presence being via a distribution partner in Cairo, Egypt.
"Controlware's product range is highly focused, directed towards specific markets and has an extensive presence in many of the global telecommunications organisations," commented Martin Bremer, Country Manager Controlware Southern Africa. "Our local presence in South Africa potentially opens up many new and exciting opportunities, and we have already established a presence with one of South Africa's primary telecommunications providers.
"Additionally, our remote video surveillance products running over public networks are installed within the South African mining and retail sectors, the latter being utilised within the KFC operation," continued Bremer.
