Alpha is a winner for Opsis

The Alpha recorder has brought much success for Opsis Visual Management and offers the user a multitude of features and add-ons. With the addition of the Alpha Lite being launched earlier this year, users are now receiving a technologically advanced 16-camera recorder for better value for money.

Due to market demand, ROVIN (remote Opsis video network) is being launched in December as an add-on feature and will offer remote live monitoring via PSTN, LAN, or ISDN on any Alpha recorder. Frame rates of up to 8 ips can be achieved via 10 Mbps LAN and up to three users can simultaneously have access to live pictures from the same Alpha recorder.

Furthermore, Opsis provides comprehensive support package to all its users, with on-line support through a dial-up system directly to the recorder. Pre-fault diagnostics, operator training, the download of new features and remote system maintenance is dealt with immediately and efficiently. Proof of Opsis' successful support service can be judged through a recent survey that showed that 88% of digital CCTV recorders sold by Opsis five years ago are still running today.
