Cabinet and local suppression control panels

Microsense II provides a complete control centre for localised fire suppression in many applications. The control system can be fully automatic, using smoke, heat or flame detectors or manual only, using the in-built or remotely connected manual release control.

The operating mode for automatic detection can be switch selected as 'single activation' for immediate release upon detection by any sensor or 'coincidence activation' where two sensors must operate before activation of the suppression agent. All sensors connect to the same pair of wires.

Furthermore, Microsense II is optimised for use with 'Metron' actuators or solid propellant gas generators although operation with some lower powered latching solenoid systems is possible. All circuits are fully supervised to ensure reliable operation and the panel contains an integral battery charger to provide standby in the event of mains power failure.
