TeqTrader, part of Honeywell's Home & Building Control business recently introduced the 640 panel from Notifier - part of the recently launched Onyx series. This panel easily adapts to any size application including small commercial and industrial facilities, high-rise buildings and campus complexes.
The Onyx 640 offers fast polling and response time by using Notifier's Flash-Scan technology, the new signalling line circuit (SLC) protocol enabling increased loop capacity of up to 318 devices. Its response times exceed worldwide code requirements.
Onyx 640 comes standard as one loop but is expandable to two, which allows up to 636 points per control panel, and readily accommodates future expansion needs via the mounting of additional panels in a single enclosure. The panels function separately or communicate as a network using a network control station (NCS), or a network control annunciator (NCA).
All products share common network connection protocol - enabling simple, cost-effective networking. The Onyx 640 includes three display options namely - displayless node; 80-character LCD; and 640-character LCD.
