1 March 2017 Surveillance, Products & Solutions

VIVOTEK has announced its latest H.265 and complete vertical solutions, along with a host of partnerships that have seen integration with Genetec, Cathexis and iOmniscient.

Transportation solutions

VIVOTEK introduced a network camera series and an industrial PoE switch all equipped with M12 connection and EN50155 standard compliance for railway systems. The IP surveillance system for train-based applications, is designed to guarantee the safety of both passengers and staff. Integrated with IP67-rated rugged design, the shockproof, dustproof, waterproof and temperature resistant MD8563-EH maintains stable and reliable video output during movement.

Moreover, it features WDR Pro to provide improved visibility in high-contrast lighting environments, such as at the entrance of train cars. For carriage interiors, the 5-megapixel fisheye fixed dome network camera, the FE8181V delivers 360° surround view without blind spots. The series also includes the AW-IHT-0602, an industrial EN50155 M12 PoE switch that implements M12 connection design to allow users to deploy IP surveillance throughout a range of transportation applications.

City surveillance solutions

Fully aware of the growing importance of city surveillance to ensure public safety as well as overall efficiency, VIVOTEK offers the SD9364-EH, a professional H.265 IR speed dome camera, and equipped with VAIR (Vari-Angle IR) technology with 250 metre IR illuminators to maintain image quality and illumination in the most challenging environments.

The outdoor-ready weatherproof IP66-rated and vandal-proof IK10-rated housing cabinet and power supply also ensure full protection against unfavourable climates as well as vandalism, making this series a good fit for any exposed outdoor application.

Another product the company launched is the MS8391-EV, featuring four 3-megapixel CMOS sensors with 180-degree panoramic views, and built-in IR illuminators effective up to 30 metres.

VIVOTEK has also launched the CD8371-HNVF2, the latest 3-megapixal vandal-proof IR corner dome network camera specifically designed for the upper corner of confined spaces and for capturing fine detail in high security environments. Equipped with invisible 94 nm IR illuminators, which makes intruders unaware their image is being captured in the darkness. Moreover, the camera is also armed with weatherproof IP66 rated and vandal-proof IK10+ rated housing, taking city surveillance to next level.
