New supplier in security bag and seal market

Transvaal Rubber Company (TRUCO) recently announced the establishment of a wholly-owned subsidiary, TruSeal - a manufacturer and distributor of security bags and seals. TruSeal was formed by TRUCO's acquisition of Tau Distributors and the merger of this operating business with its former security bags and seals division, Envopak SA.

TruSeal is also the official South African distributor for ACME Seals, whose seals are H.M. Customs & Excise and US Customs approved. TruSeal will be headed up by former Managing Director of Tau Distributors, Tony Cramer.

Says Cramer, "Leveraging the creation of TruSeal off our separation from Envopak UK is expected to pay significant dividends as we expand our product range to become a major supplier to the security industry. Our patented products and exclusive distribution agreements with overseas suppliers make TruSeal a force to be reckoned with and a valuable source of quality security seal products in an industry previously dominated by very few competitors."
