Lenel Systems International recently announced that it ranks 117th on the newly published 2001 Inc. 500 list for the third consecutive year. The list, compiled annually by Inc. magazine, ranks the nation's fastest-growing, privately-held companies, based on revenue growth over a five-year period. "We feel extremely fortunate to have been named to the Inc. 500 list for the third consecutive year," said Elena Prokupets, Lenel's CEO, President and Co-Founder. "This honor is a tribute to the diligent efforts and technological wizardry of Lenel's employees."
Lenel's inclusion on the 2001 Inc. 500 list reflects the strength and sustained growth of the company despite a murky national economic climate. Of the 116 companies that rank higher than Lenel on the 2001 Inc. 500, only 22 also held positions on the list last year. Lenel currently ranks 13th among companies based in New York State and is second among Rochester area firms.
