ESDA golf day again a success

November 2016 News & Events, Associations

Manufacturers, distributors and suppliers of product to the security industry participated in the annual ESDA Golf Day in August 2016.

The day was well supported with a total of 21 four-balls teeing off at Modderfontein Golf Course for a day of sport and fun. The ESDA golf day is just one of the member benefits that members can use to entertain their customers.

This year a number of companies sponsored holes and donated prizes, while the benefits of the day went directly to the Rand Association, the charity beneficiary of this year’s event. The committee would like to extend a very big thank you to all the players, sponsors and donors for their participation, sponsorships and donations, which contributed to the success of the day.

After the golf day, a dinner was held in which prizes were handed out and the guests were entertained by Louis Oosthuizen of Louis 57 wines (http://louis57wines.com/). Louis provided a fun and interesting wine tasting experience for all and then auctioned off a painting which raised a further R6000 for Rand Aid. This, combined with the R12 000 collected from the day, made a total of R18 000 that was donated to Rand Aid.

ESDA would like to thank all the companies who provided sponsorship and prizes for the golf day. This support helps to add to the fun of the day. This year’s sponsors were:

• ADI

• Cathexis.

• Centurion.

• DSC.

• Elvey.

• ET Systems.

• FSK.

• GSS.

• Hi-Tech Security Solutions.

• IDS.

• Impro.
