Network with peers in the residential estate security market

1 May 2016 News & Events, Conferences & Events

Following a sold-out event in Johannesburg, Hi-Tech Security Solutions in cooperation with Rob Anderson will be hosting a full day conference covering residential estate security in Durban on 22 June 2016. The event will be held at the Durban Country Club from 9.00 am to 3.30 pm.

To date, the event has seen 60 people registering to attend in order to gain insight into various aspects of estate security, best practices, and to find out where estates fall short and leave a gap for the criminal element. These attendees are primarily estate managers, estate security managers and others responsible for securing residential estates in KZN, but also include security service providers and systems integrators.

For those looking for assistance in putting a security plan together for their residents, Rob Anderson will provide an example of how estates can put together a reliable security plan based on the information provided during the conference.

Topics the event will cover include:

• Best practices and working solutions in perimeter security,

• Insight into optical and thermal cameras and where each will deliver the best results,

• Using video analytics for improving security and reducing cost,

• Getting results from access control and visitor management solutions,

• Control room best practices,

• Dealing with manpower issues,

• The best ways of integrating technology and security personnel, and

• Turning security data from internal and external sources into intelligence.

During the lunch and networking breaks, attendees will have the opportunity to network with their peers from other estates as well as various security service providers and systems integrators.

Moreover, to ensure attendees are provided with the optimal overview of estate security processes, people and technology, six companies are sponsoring the event and will have tabletop displays and personnel on hand to provide visitors with information on the wide range of products and solutions available for residential estate security. The sponsors are Elvey Security Technologies, Powell Tronics, Betafence, Enforce Security, Miro and Comb Communications.

There is still time to register if you would like to hear the latest in estate security solutions and processes, as well as meet your industry peers. The cost to attend is R1200, which includes lunch, refreshments throughout the day as well as ample networking opportunities.
