Securex West Africa in March

February 2016 News & Events

The most established security and public safety event to serve the government and private sectors of West Africa is returning in March. Securex West Africa is taking place at the Landmark Centre, Lagos, Nigeria from the 1st to 3rd March 2016.

With a booming population and economic growth at almost six percent, the business opportunities on offer in West Africa are clear to see. There is no better platform to enter the security market than through the exhibition that houses all aspects of the sector under one roof. With international exhibitors coming from around the globe such as ASSA ABLOY and Afrisec as well as the leading integrators and distributors from the local market such as Halogen and Kontz all in attendance it’s sure to be the must attend event of the year.

The security sector in Nigeria alone is worth US$4bn, with rapid expansion in commercial infrastructure, cyber security and private dwelling perimeter security. These areas are represented by the 60 exhibitors and 2000 expected attendees.

Running in conjunction with the exhibition is a three-day conference programme, looking into the key areas that are affecting the West African region today.

Securex West Africa has assimilated itself very closely with the key national associations such as; The Civil Defence Corp, the Nigerian Institute for Industrial Security and the Nigerian Police, among others. Such partnerships ensure the attendance of key decision makers from the government sector as well as key vertical sectors including finance, education, healthcare, transport, construction, retail, hospitality and utilities, making this an important event for anyone involved in the security and safety profession in West Africa.
