FLIR thermal mini bullet camera

1 January 2016 Surveillance

FLIR launched its TCX Mini Bullet in April 2015. The FLIR TCX Mini Bullet is the first class of cameras to combine 24/7 high-contrast thermal video and high-performance built-in video motion detection (VMD) with a high level of affordability. With the launch of the TCX, FLIR opened up a whole new range of applications for thermal imaging for a much wider audience. The FLIR TCX can be used for intrusion detection, video alarm verification, lighting control, people counting, retail traffic flow, queue management, and many more.

It is a thermal camera that gives you the advantage to see clearly in complete darkness without any illumination, in bright sunlight, through smoke, dust or even light fog. Other features include:

Eliminate false alarms: More reliable than visible cameras, the high-contrast thermal TCX camera presents a dramatic reduction in false alarms because it is not affected by changes in lighting, low-contrast scenes or inclement weather. Also, it does not require illumination at night.

Detection and verification in one device: The TCX Mini Bullet provides affordable intrusion detection, with built-in VMD or third-party analytics, and accurate video alarm verification, all in one device.

Easy integration in all environments: With the flexibility to integrate anywhere you need it, you can easily employ the TCX Mini Bullet in cold climates, connect it with FLIR mobile apps, or hook it up to a FLIR network or MPX recorder.
