Automated swing door operators

August 2015 Access Control & Identity Management, Fire & Safety, Integrated Solutions, Healthcare (Industry), Products & Solutions

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems’ automated swing door operators are intelligent door operators delivering the convenience of automated swing door entrance solutions and combining high performance, energy efficiency, aesthetics, convenience and safety.

The Besam SW300 and SW200i door operators are a range of automated door systems available from ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems. The Besam SW200i is the first intelligent operator designed to seamlessly handle the many varying conditions in buildings, like changing stack pressures, electrified hardware components, and building security systems. The SW200i can operate on a heavier door in a narrower area, allowing a 180° opening with full functionality both in safety and ease of use.

The Besam SW300 range opens wider and is ideally suited for healthcare, residential buildings and offices where ease of entry/exit, performance reliability and superior safety are of importance.

Silent mode

The door operators are both aesthetically appealing and operate impressively silent for their significant capabilities, the SW300 70 mm slim and the SW200i are able to handle heavy doors of up to 250 kg and 320 kg respectively. In addition, the innovative electronics in the operators ensure minimal energy consumption for optimal door performance.

“Our automated door systems are all about energy efficiency,” says Juan Vargues, president ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems. “With the end-user’s environmental footprint in mind at all times, the operators are designed to ensure the safest possible entry and exit while minimising unnecessary air infiltration and keeping climate zones separate by opening only when needed.”

Safety is a top priority during the design and engineering of the door operators and they are fully compliant with European standards and fire approved, making them ideal for creating and maintaining security, smoke and fire zones. In case of an obstruction, by a person or an object, the obstruction control ensures stop on stall and reverse operation. To enable the traffic flow in narrow passages they offer a 180° opening with full functionality in both safety and security.

Battery backup

Battery backup ensures that an entrance equipped with a Besam swing door operator always remains conveniently accessible. The operator monitors the battery for power and function and gives an electronic indication if it needs replacement.

The swing doors’ intelligent locking features are designed for customer peace of mind. Double doors are precisely controlled to prevent jamming and to increase security.
