Ultrak releases new controller

Leading integrated solutions specialist Ultrak has announced the release of a new controller for its leading MaxPro video management systems range.

Representing a breakthrough in both design and functionality, UltraKey allows for quick and intuitive control of every CCTV system function with its combination of large format touch-screen LCD, dedicated hard keys, joystick and jog shuttle dials. Capable of handling hundreds of command menus, representing up to 8000 individual buttons and 999 key codes, the touch-screen LCD makes it possible to control the entire system from one keyboard.

The two assignable jog shuttle dials can be used to perform functions such as changing camera views, selecting monitors to edit views, even searching through images on a DVR. UltraKey also has a centrally mounted, variable speed, rate-proportional joystick, with integral zoom for the control of P/T/Z cameras and domes.

Designed to enhanced operational control of integrated systems with the minimum of keystrokes, UltraKey complements Ultrak's MaxPro management solution to reduce training requirements, improve efficiency and cut incident response times.
