A weekend at Sun City

May 2015 News & Events

Came BPT South Africa, a subsidiary of Came Group, invited 10 top customers for a weekend at Sun City. From 6 to 8 March they spent the weekend at the entertainment resort in a very natural environment. The purpose of the weekend was to improve the relationship with BPT’s most promising customers and share with them strategies, new systems and products that will be available from Came Group in the near future.

While enjoying the beautiful natural environment, some time was spent in meetings and presentations. A lot of ideas were exchanged with the customers on the way forward. For Came BPT, the information collected represent very important and powerful tools to be used in the near future for the benefit of our partners and end users, said Andre Huysamer, Cape Town branch manager.

“The weekend gave us the opportunity to present new concepts which are going to be implemented within the group very soon. Came BPT is probably the group with the widest range of products available in the security industry at the moment. With the recent acquisition of Parkare – a Spanish company, world leader in off and on-street Parking systems – the group has become a supplier of global solutions, from the simple intercom or gate motor to a complete solution for a shopping centre, an airport, a stadium or an office complex. This includes lighting solutions from Domino LED, another division in the group specialising in high-efficiency LED lighting solutions.

The key word to summarise the meetings and discussions is “integration”, comments Riccardo Battaini, MD of the company in South Africa. Only companies with sufficiently wide expertise will be capable of integrating all the products and systems in one single platform, which allows the end user to control, manage and maintain all the systems from a single point of control. This range of solutions will be called Came Connect.

Came Group is one of the few organisations in the world capable of doing it and the results will be visible in a short period of time.

As one of the partners on the trip noted, “The idea of Came Connect and integration really caught my attention as I believe it would be effective in the sense that more clients are looking to integrate their security needs. The implementation of this product would save us from having to install various different products and deal with the hassle of integrating them individually, which costs more on the integrator side. I would rather install a range from one manufacturer and have them integrated into one security solution.”
