Integrated electronic solutions company changes name

Integrated solutions company Shield Electronics has officially changed its name to Provicom Electronics. The change comes after the company acquired Provicom Industries.

The decision to change the name from Shield to Provicom was taken because of the vast experience that Provicom has in the electronic commercial industry and entertainment market.

The head office, located on the same premises as the company's Gauteng division, is headed by Managing Director, Steve van Aswegen. The public relations department is headed by Sureen Nel.

Key staff at other branches around the country include Gary Shelton who heads up the Gauteng division, Glen Schluter (Western Cape), Tony Coom (Durban and Richards Bay), and Gary Buchner (Eastern Cape).

Already the company has successfully completed a host of new projects including Bank City, South African Reserve Bank and Standard Bank.
