Dahua guards APEC

February 2015 Surveillance

Dahua Technology successfully secured the China World Summit and China National Convention Centre in Beijing with its megapixel IP solution during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders’ Meeting.

The 22nd APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting was held in Beijing from 10–11 November 2014 under the theme of ‘Shaping the Future through Asia-Pacific Partnership’. Eleven leaders or representatives from APEC economies attended the meeting. It is the highest-level security project after the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA). Dahua had the honour to provide the solution to completely support the whole APEC meeting’s security requirements.

Dahua’s two-megapixel network speed domes (DH-SD-6C1220S-HN) provide real-time recording at high definitions with 1080p HD video output and maximum 150-metre IR distance, ensuring a wide visual range at night as well as other poor-lighting conditions; the domes’ ingress protection rating is up to IP66 which could guard against harsh weather.

Dahua megapixel IP solution not only ensures the safety of the core area, but also surrounding areas. In order to strengthen the security of key areas and get all in control, it is necessary to protect every corner. Furthermore, Dahua provides total solution with in-house management software where hotels, convention centres or even outdoor cameras can be managed 24-hours and deliver real-time surveillance to prevent any potential danger.

“We are proud to deliver our solution for such an important event like APEC,” said Tim Shen, overseas marketing director at Dahua Technology. “Dahua accomplished this task and proved once again that Dahua’s IP solution can meet high-level security, providing high definition quality and reliable stability. Projects like this require extremely high and rigid level of products. Based on this success in China, Dahua is dedicated to technology innovation to provide more added value, better service and solutions for customers.”
