Standalone and uninterruptible voice sounders

When a fire starts, every second counts. For locations with demanding safety requirements, uninterruptible voice sounding is an essential feature, ensuring a fast and immediate evacuation.

Bosch voice sounders combine sounder signals with a clear, synchronised voice message to improve the communication to people who need to be warned of a hazardous situation. Clear and understandable messaging reduces the time taken for those at risk to recognise that an emergency exists, and take appropriate action.

With 32 pre-programmed signals and voice messages in seven different languages, the device is easy to individualise and adapt to the customer’s needs. The sounder can also be equipped with individual, professionally recorded customised messages. Sounders within the same loop and with the same message always synchronise immediately, the battery allows the sounder volume to remain constant, even in the case of voltage drop.

Uninterruptible means that if a T-tap interruption, single, or even two-cable interruptions occur within the loop, the sounders will remain active. To achieve this, an industrial, high-performance battery is provided. The battery is laser sealed and has gold contacts and cannot corrode. It is resistant to temperature variations from -40° to +70°C, and lasts more than 10 years.

The voltage level is automatically checked every 24 hours by the fire panel. When the low-voltage warning message appears on the panel screen, one still has four weeks to exchange the battery.
