Conduit for the dissemination of relevant information

Mahen Sivsanker says that residential estate managers are often very low-key in their approach to security. The Hi-Tech Security Solutions seminar provided a perfect conduit for the dissemination of relevant information on best practice for residential estate security technology. He believes that the seminars should become a regular feature in KZN and be extended to an even larger residential security estate market base.

He felt that because of the close relationship that develops with installers and system integrators, end-users are often reluctant to question the technology specified for their application. Interestingly, the estate managers were more interested in asking questions about company credentials than they were about the intricacies of the technology on display. This is a clear indication that a great deal of trust in installers exists.

A superior software program will perform predetermined analytics and allow the operator to concentrate on performing a suitable response to the event.
